Cherishing what may be some of my last splurges, I made cracker crumb baked Halibut with steamed veggies.

Today I was tested for Celiac Disease. My symptoms fit the bill better than I realized and while I’d like to know what the hell is going on my gut, I’m hoping I’m not punished to Gluten-Free forever.

Also on MedicThree …

My entire family has celiacs and you will be surprised to see how many delicious celiac friendly foods there are. I even have some delicious recipes if you would like them.

In looking for complete milk free food items for my kid, I came across many gluten free foods. Don’t freak out, we’ve had gluten (and dairy) free chocolate donnuts, pizza crusts, noodles and crackers! A good health food store has tons of those items as well as most good supermarkets!

Well that is reassuring! The only downside is I live in a TINY town… The likelihood of being able to find things locally is slim to none…

They are out there, they just like to hide is all. A little research and maybe a monthly road trip to get supplies, but definitely doable.
