Hi friends. As usual, I’ve been dinking around with the site and would like your opinion of a few things:

The friend connect bar on the top(you can join my site as a follower and also comment on the site as a whole or share things with my readers)

The “share this” button on each tag.

There is also “tweetboard” installed, but it doesn’t seem to be working properly. I may just nix it if someone from tweetboard doesnt’ step up to help me fix it. It was working fine but as some of you know, I got rid of the @courtesyshock username at twitter.com and now can be followed at @medicTHREE

Let me know what you all think. If you enjoy my blog consider following it(plus this gives you an easy place to bookmark sites you follow). Also please share posts through the “share this” button on each post if you like them! Linky love is always much appreaciated!

    Just my opinion…

While I'm not a big fan of the Google Friend Connect bar, I think the ShareThis button is definitely a good move.

The Tweetboard tab can overlay onto your content and is pretty distracting… so if it isn't working… I'd either get rid of it or at least move it to the right side.

I gave it a go Dave. We'll see how i like it for a few days.

I don't see the connect bar but I follow through RSS feeds anyway.

I never had a problem with the tweetboard overlapping content, but I use a wide-screen resolution and display so that might be why I never saw an issue.

If you are wanting to keep twitter updates on your site, perhaps a sidebar widget (or wordpress equivalent). Just copy and paste the code from http://twitter.com/widgets into a sidebar

M3 – I don't see the Google Friend Connect bar either (I'm using Firefox 3.0.11)

I do like the Google Friend option as it means, in my little head anyway, something along the lines of RSS+. Its not enough that I read the blog but I want to put you on a higher level of connection.

But I could have just left the top of the permanent marker for too long to rationalize that!!

I agree that the tweeter bar is just annoying in its color and location. In all honesty if I'm not following you on twitter (I don't twit) then why do I care how many twits have been sent in the last 24 hours?
