		<description>At The Borg, we&#039;ve tripled our cardiac arrest survival rate from near 7% in 2005 to more than 20% today.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The only thing we&#039;re doing different is emphasis on uninterrupted chest compressions, to the point where we run the code on scene, and only transport if we have ROSC. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;ETI and packaging for transport interrupt chest compressions too much, so we save all that for the event that we get a ROSC.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;IT&#039;s working.</description>

Sometimes, I think that can get lost in the storytelling, and in this case, it&#039;s the whole process that saved the patient.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In my system, there are a lot of medics that like to give each other high fives for their code saves: arrest patients they&#039;ve delivered to the ER with ROSC. They forget (or aren&#039;t&#039; concerned with) the back end.</description>
